Who we are

Our hub brings together a skilled team of therapists specialising in Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Occupational Therapy and many more. We are committed to nurturing each child’s unique abilities and providing individualised care tailored to their developmental needs. This allows us to work collaboratively with like-minded expert professionals including delivering joint therapy sessions and programmes.

At Maze, we work collaboratively with families to create a warm, supportive environment where every child can thrive. Our holistic approach ensures each child receives the comprehensive, compassionate care they deserve to flourish in their daily lives.

How it began…

Hi, I’m Charlotte, a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist with a passion for promoting functional and meaningful communication in the everyday lives of children and young people. My goal is to empower individuals to communicate effectively in real-world situations, making a genuine impact on their ability to connect and engage with those around them.

I began my career in the NHS, working within preschool and school services, before transitioning to a private, school-based service focused on secondary education and Deafness. I have also worked privately in paediatric neurology, primarily supporting children with cerebral palsy, where I specialised in using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to enhance their communication.

My experience spans a range of conditions, including Autism, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), neurological disorders (including medico-legal), mental health and wellbeing, Deafness, brain injury, and speech sound disorders such as dysarthria and Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).

I believe strongly in the power of collaborative care and enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide holistic support. By integrating the expertise of various professionals, I believe we can ensure expert communication across therapies to achieve the best possible outcomes for every individual I work with and support for families.
